Engineering Camp
Engineering Programs at Vision Tech
Vision Tech Camps offers our engineering courses to providers around the globe. Our engineering camp provides a fun, engaging learning environment where students design and create projects while discovering the underlying engineering principles and processes. Engineering camps offer an exploration of engineering fields using the Vision Tech tested hands-on and project-based learning approach. As students work on their projects, they investigate the design process while exploring a multitude of different engineering disciplines including electrical engineering, robotics engineering, computer hardware engineering, and mechanical engineering. Whether its robotics, 3D printing, or building a computer camp, engineering is a 21st century STEM skills all children should explore. An early introduction to engineering encourages kids & teens to consider engineering as a career and view the world with a critical eye.

Join Vision Tech Camps' LEGO Robotics camp to take part in an incredible learning experience in robotics engineering. You will design and build robots using the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 system, and use the easy and intuitive EV3 visual programming interface to get your introduction to programming.
What is Engineering?
Engineering is the application of scientific and mathematical knowledge to invent, design and build systems, components and many ranges of solutions. Engineers apply their knowledge of mathematics and science to find an innovative solution to problems. Engineering is very broad discipline and encompasses many fields. The field of engineering can be divided into four main branches.
- Mechanical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Chemical engineering
- Civil engineering
Who is an Engineer?
An engineer is a dreamer who invents. They use their scientific knowledge to solve problems and make things work more efficiently. Engineers design systems, material, and structures within the limitation of budget, safety, and regulations. A typical engineering degree is a 4-year bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree.
Why Teach Engineering to Kids?
A career in engineering is never boring. Engineering requires creative thinking, engineers can design and build robots that can help in rescue missions, automate and increase productivity in factories.
Research shows that when engineering education is part of elementary level education, kids are more likely to see the value of science education and feel more enthusiastic about exciting opportunities available for jobs, higher education, and entrepreneurship. Early education encourages many students’ especially girls to consider engineering as career choice and value mathematics and science education in life. A career in engineering is never boring. Engineers can design and build robots that can help in rescue missions, automate and increase productivity in factories.
About Engineering Camp
Teaching kids & teens engineering from an early age reinforces math and science skills along with critical thinking and creativity. Our Engineering camp is designed to be inquiry based and kids explore different engineering STEM skills by designing and building solution following the engineering design process. Throughout these camps, students learn about real-world applications of skills they learn, by building and testing their creations.
Our engaging engineering camp program encourages kids & teens interested in STEM fields by providing innovative hands-on projects that are designed to be interactive and fun. Carefully chosen engineering courses allow kids to experiment, test, and iterate their designs and ideas. Our engineering curriculum is taught by instructors who are themselves engineers and have a deep passion for science and teaching STEM skills to students.
